Hello UFV student. Did you know that there are many events are happening each week? If not, we have a University's Strategic Plan, the UFV Ceremonies and Events Office is responsible for planning ceremonial recognition and formal university-wide activities, as well as events on behalf of the President's Office and other units.

Best Events for sport people For the student who loves to watch sport or used to play sport. We would recommend you to attend the Men/Women basketball nights games, Golf, Volleyball, Soccer, Men Baseball, Women’s Rugby Sevens, Rowing, and Wrestling. During the winter season, the biggest basketball events will be hosted one game per week. Usually, the stadium is full, many UFV fans are the very friendly and hyping crown. UFV basketball games are the best way to escape away from the stress, overwhelming homework, and college stress time. Just relax, go all out hyping during the games and make more new friends! Drop-In Event Did you know that many UFV events are “FREE” for students, employees, and alumni? Well, today is your lucky day. Anyone with a UFV Campus Card is welcome to participate in dropin sports. All drop-in sports are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. A Sport Organizer will be on hand to assist with team formation and registration. When participating in dropin events, all participants must wear athletic gear and non-marking shoes. Here is the list of sports drop-in: Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Weightroom, Etc. Other events are fitness classes that will be involved with Yoga 4 Self-Care, Yoga 4 Fitness where people do slow movements and deep breathing help to warm up muscles and boost blood flow while holding a pose can help gain strength. Therefore, more physical classes call “Strength & Conditioning”, and Etc. This type of this event can improve physical + mental health, helps build muscles stronger that could help the recovery process faster, and reduce injury through better movement.

Mental Health Awareness Club Throughout Colleges, the student has stressed over the high cost of getting into a program in college and their family member couldn’t afford to pay tuition, college debt, and living costs for most students who live far away from home. Therefore, the student has increased responsibilities, a lack of excellent time management, changes in eating and sleeping habits, and not taking enough breaks for self-care are all major sources of stress for students. Making the transition to college, particularly for most first-year students, can be stressful. Don’t worry, you are not alone!. In UFV, we have a program called The mental Health Awareness Club (MHAC) to support and provide resources to help student mental health. Our goal is for individuals who are in pain to feel unable to communicate their emotions, while those who want to help are confused about where to begin. to create mental health awareness through events where individuals can freely ask questions and talk about anything related to the topic.
