Pathophysiology Related to Client Problem The body does not properly regulate glucose. Either insufficient or no insulin is produced due to loss of beta ce in pancreas (Type 1) - or type 2 (excessive glucagon secretion, insulin resistance, inadequate insulin production by beta cells).
