BSB111 - Business Law and Ethics Semester 3, 2019 - Final Exam DATE, TIME ROOM and DURATION

The final exam timetable has been released. Have a look at your Personal Profile on QUT HiQ for the date, time, and room. Staff cannot advise of this. Note: these details may change and it is your responsibility to check for changes on a continuous basis right up until the exam date itself. The exam is of 2 hours duration. There is also 10 minutes of perusal time, during which you may make notes on the exam paper only (not in your answer booklets).

FORMAT

The exam is worth a total of 50 marks (50%). All questions must be answered. Some questions have sub-parts. Marks are clearly indicated on each question, so plan your time accordingly. The answers must be written in the booklets provided to you. The format is similar to the sample exam that has been made available on Blackboard. The questions in the final examination may contain different concepts (e.g. sections of the ACL) – the questions are not recycled from past examinations and you should not memorise past examinations available online. The sample examination is an indication of format only. There may be additional sub-parts in the final examination. You should try to complete this sample exam prior to the week 13 workshop and ‘self-grade’ your answers.

CONTENT

All material from Lectures 5 to 12 (inclusive) are examinable. The focus being on Lectures 7 to 12 for direct questions.

TYPE

The exam is Open book. You are permitted to bring any printed material into the exam. This can be lecture PowerPoints; answers to tutorial questions and any other notes that you have prepared. You are not able to be bring in a hard copy of the prescribed textbook in the exam. Translation dictionaries are permitted in the exam.

WHAT TO BRING

Blue or black pens, pencils, pencil sharpener, rubber/eraser, student ID. Calculators are not required.
