How easy was it for you to navigate the Bellevue College website and Canvas while doing assignments for this workshop?

Use the Is eLearning for you? (Links to an external site.) page checklist as a guide. Throughout the past several days of learning about the basics of using Canvas, not

only was I able to recover from what I’ve previously worked with, but I was able to interact with other students who may be in the same situation and background as me. I’ve had many courses that are associated with this online atmosphere, such as fully online courses and hybrid courses. My first time working with online courses worked out better than I thought when I first became a Running Start student here at Bellevue College. I believe that effective communication and my personal understanding of online learning will help me succeed in hybrid and online classes with extra help and support for this canvas workshop. So far, I learned to identify elements of the syllabus, send an email to the instructor through the Canvas inbox tool, create an original post in a discussion thread, and respond to a classmate’s post, submit an assignment with an attachment, and navigate the Bellevue College website to discover additional campus resources. Not only was I able to gain knowledge in my area of expertise, but it was also fun and enjoyable to have something assigned for me while I’m in self-quarantine. The provided quizzes gave students, and myself, a broader aspect of what

2 should be acknowledged in order to succeed as an online college student. This course not only helps students with the use of canvas, but also helps students with time management. By time management, students will be able to develop and maintain what assignments should be finished and submitted before the due date. I found it being not challenging at all in any way accomplishing this course because the instructions provided were thorough and comprehensive. Overall, I will be able to apply my ability and intelligence towards my academic process....
