Macaroni & Cheesehttps://www.thechunkychef.com/family-favorite-baked-mac-and-cheese/ This recipe I found is actually very similar to the recipe we’re doing. The main difference is the gruyere cheese used here instead of the parmesan cheese. Gruyere seems a bit sharper to me. Personally, I’m a huge gruyere cheese fan when it comes to mac and cheese. Another difference is the panko topping we use isn’t used in this recipe. They just top theirs with cheese and bake until bubbly and golden brown. The cooking methods are very similar as far as making the noodles and cheese sauce first. The putting it in a casserole dish and baking in the oven. The preheated ovens are different on at 400 and this one is 375 for 15 min instead of 20 min.

https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/11679/homemade-mac-and-cheese/ This recipe is almost exactly like our recipe. They don’t have Worcestershire or tobacco in their recipe. But everything else is exactly the same ingredients. Cooking methods are the same as well. Except they cook on 350 degrees for 30 min instead of the 20 min like ours and higher temperature.

Maryland Crab Cakes with Tartar Sauce https://www.onceuponachef.com/recipes/maryland-crab-cakes-with-quick-tartar-sauce.html

[Type here] For this recipe our dressing is pretty simple. They added celery and 2 eggs instead of half of an egg like our recipe. Their tarter recipe is quite different. They use red onion and sweet pickle relish. We use capers, pickles, grain mustard instead of Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce. They use panko instead of breadcrumbs. For the cooking methods, we refrigerate for 15 min where they refrigerate for an hour after mixing dressing with the crab. Also, they are pan searing/frying their crab cakes instead of baking them. 3-5 min on each side. We bake ours for about 12 min on 375 degrees in the oven. Two different methods.

Classing Maryland Crab Cakes with Pepperoncini Tarter https://sliceofjess.com/classic-maryland-crab-cakes-with-pepperoncini-tartar/

For this recipe they used tobacco sauce which is the only difference with the dressing. They used lump crab and claw meat. The tartar sauce didn’t have a recipe to it. I’m assuming it was store bought. The cooking method was pan seared and not oven baked. Butternut squash soup https://www.gimmesomeoven.com/slow-cooker-butternut-squash-soup-recipe/

The ingredients for this recipe are a bit different. This one calls for granny smith apples, white onions, cayenne, cinnamon, sage and coconut milk. The cooking method for this recipe is slow cook for 6-8 hours. With the vegetable stock and veggies. Our recipe is 25 min simmer. We use leeks instead of onions in our recipe as well. For their recipe everything is slow cooked and then blended. Nothing added at the end like ours.

[Type here] This recipe seems very simpler. They use onion, garlic, sage, rosemary instead of thyme, butternut squash, ginger, veggie broth, toasted pepitas instead of pistachio or sliced almonds & Crusty bread for serving. The cooking method is sauteing the onion, squash and then add seasonings. Then add broth and bring to a boil and simmer for 20-30 minutes which is similar to ours and then blending in a blinder once it slightly cools....
