Description

The next workshops (02/03) started with the group that was going to talk about the theme "Problem Solving". As soon as I saw the first slide, I thought that this workshop was going to be very interesting because it is a much-discussed topic. The first thing I noticed was that they were not awake yet or that they had not properly prepared who was going to start. However, this was only a minor detail. In their overview, we immediately saw that they were going to talk about different types of problems and how to solve them. I found this very interesting because they also immediately showed us which skills are needed to solve certain problems. It also turns out that taking risks is often good for solving problems. This is something I keep in mind for when I need it later. Then they talked about the three different people who solve a problem. You have the independent person, the thinker and the person who immediately asks a lot of questions. After hearing this explanation, I could gauge that I am more of a questioner. I always have the feeling that I am not doing something right, so I always have to ask questions about certain things. Apparently, this is not a bad thing because it is one of the 3 types of problem solving. IHer powerpoint was well structured and had more pictures than text. This made it much more pleasant to listen to and follow along. I also personally found that they presented smoothly and in a pleasant way. At the end we did a kahoot quiz. This is something that most students used, but it did add to the atmosphere of the presentation. After the presentation, we were all allowed to ask questions to which the group gave us an answer as quickly as possible. After the short break, it was the next group's turn. They talked about the subject of 'Risk Taking'. This is a very important subject in economics. They told us about why people take risks, what risks there are and how certain people deal with them. Their powerpoint was very well constructed and they presented very fluently. They did not use a kahoot quiz. They chose someone random from the chat and this person had to try to answer their question correctly. This is something unique and different from the rest which gives them plus points. I also found a very funny meme about the theme Risk Taking. This picture is about someone who took a risk in high school and eventually it turned out great for him. This was my diary for 02/03...
