Strengths: a. “Aerie Real”/“Real Me” collection- don't Photoshop models, choose models of all shapes/sizes/colors b. use bloggers and everyday people as brand ambassadors to promote the company c. pop-up shops at colleges around the country- targeting consumer d. Very active on social media platforms, use variety in posts (not always just their product or models) e. Instagram is aesthetically pleasing, looks ‘fresh’ and intriguing f. Instagram posts have a ‘tap to view’ product making it easy to go buy it online 2. Weaknesses: a. strays from the norm of the fashion industry by not choosing ‘perfect’ models or photo shopping b. posts don't always include their products (for example: sometimes they just post cute/artsy pictures) c. lack of promotions/sales 3.
