Essay "Non-verbal communication"...

Description

Communication is the process of exchanging information in order to communicate effectively. At the same time, a greater percentage of communication is non-verbal communication that occurs without words. Non-verbal communication is human behavior that gives signals about the emotional state and the nature of the interaction of communicating people. Non-verbal means of communication can be expressed in hairstyle, clothing, posture, facial expressions, objects surrounding a person. Recognition of such behavior allows you to determine the mood, expectations, experiences, feelings, intentions, moral and personal qualities of communicating individuals, which of course will affect the work. In management, non-verbal means are necessary in order to: Create psychological contact between partners; Regulate the flow of the communication process; To enrich the meaning of information that is conveyed by words, to guide the interpretation of a verbal text; Anticipate what needs to be done to achieve the desired result. For example, I want to tell you about the real situation of my friend. They were negotiating with a partner and were about to close a deal. Interlocutor1: "All right, can we sign a contract?" At this time, the Interlocutor2 begins to give up positions and say that he will think about it and he will contact. After repeating the question, the Interlocutor1 noticed that his parterre was deviating, crossing his arms - subconsciously closing - on the word "contract". As it turned out, some time ago he was deceived when concluding a contract, now he subconsciously does not trust such a wording. Having figured out such a detail through their understanding of non-verbal cues, they happily continued their collaboration. Thus all systems of non-verbal communication significantly supplement the speech impact, both strengthening and weakening it. It is the non-verbal means of communication that provide more accurate information about the state of mind of the interlocutor, attitude towards the partner and towards the problem under discussion....
