This speech is building support (an argument to support) for your honoree earning this award. Everything you say in this speech will support that your honoree has earned this award and is deserving of this award. Some examples of honorees and awards include:  Present John Lennon with "Lifetime Achievement in Music" award.  Award George Washington with the "Greatest American" award.  Award Ruth Bader Ginsburg with the "Greatest American" award.  Introduce Jackie Robinson for the award for "Most Courageous Athlete."  Introduce Billie Jean King for the award for “Most Courageous Athlete.”  Present Serena Williams with the “Lifetime Achievement in Athletics” award.  Present an Academy Award to Octavia Spencer.  Present a World Music Award to Jennifer Lopez.  Present a World Music Award to Kanye West—he also has won a Dove Award.
