Some components and features that are found on the Gwinnett County Police Department are the main menu on the top of the page, column titled under police, search bar, tweets on the left side, additional links, and photos and videos. The main menu has About Gwinnett, services, departments, calendar, news, employment, and top links. Under the police column found on the left, they have a list of clickable links. Some of the links are the organization, crime preventions, Gwinnett Safety 411, and police reports. The tweets talk about either what they are doing or tips on what to do. For example, one tweet says "Parents: Explain to your kids that guns seen on TV and video games are diff from real ones." (Gwinnett County Government, 2015). Real guns can hurt people! In the additional links column, there are Citizen Online Police Reporting System, Police Reports Online-Buycrash.com, 2013-2008 Annual report, and Crime Mapping. The videos tab takes you to another part of the website called Video on Demand. When you get there, it has some videos under a title named Latest Additions. On this page, you find a menu on the left that has a list of words: Communications, TV Gwinnett, and Video on Demand. When you click each one, it pulls down with a list of more clickable links. Some things that I like about the website is that it is organized, they have links to where they can be contacted, and the font is readable. The way the site is set up is well organized. All the information you need is found on the main website, either with tabs that are named or located on the sides, header, and footer. The word font is a great size that is not so large or too small. I like the text highlighter colors that they use to make the titles stand out. When you try to click on the photos tab, it is not working. Even though I like the organization and can find everything, the tabs are not in alphabetical order. I like that the footer is organized under headings. They did well

Page 3 with providing a lot of information need in case you have questions, in particular with giving their contact information. I also like that they offer tips on how to build and protect your business. A page about businesses is something you would not think would be on a police department's website. They have a Victim/Witness Assistance Program, where they provide numbers to people who need help. The last thing I like about the website that they have an egovernment, where they have interactive features to make it easier for us to get local government services from Gwinnett County. You can pay your bills online, get applications, and forms. One change that I think would be good is if they put the information in alphabetical order.
