Next, I would like to thank University Technology Mara (UiTM) Campus Puncak Alam, Selangor giving me this opportunity to do this assignment. Next, I would like to express my thankfulness to the individual who had to guide me in finishing this assignment, Madam Norfazlina Ghazali, our lecturer for Principle of Entrepreneurship (ENT530). Thank you for giving us endless support to complete this assignment. She had been guiding us on how to do this portfolio since the very beginning. Lastly, I would like to thank everyone who has contributed directly and indirectly to the portfolio. I’m thankful to my family because giving me their support by encouraging and providing the finances for me to pay all the costs required from the beginning until the end of this assignment. I’m also thankful to my friend who support and shared their knowledge with me through this whole time.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Bunny scarves is a business that provides products that suitable for women, especially those who wear hijab. We are offering scarves that are stylish, comfortable, good quality, and affordable to our customers. We also provide a service such as a gift box, and we make sales and promotions often for our customers. We choose scarves as our product because most Malaysian is Muslim and wearing hijab. Even though many shops sell scarves, but it is a marketable product. The styles and design of scarves keep changing from time to time, and they will never stop buying them and keep on following the trend. But with our economic condition, the power of buying is decreasing, so we decide to sell scarves where it is stylish, comfortable, high quality but affordable. Our business is still new and far from established. Whatever it is, we always make sure that we give the best for our customers. We keep on trying to make sure our brand achieving the target. Our vision is to ensure shopping is enjoyable and not expensive for our customers, and our goal is to make sure our brand be one of the top brands in Malaysia and maybe at the international level. For now, we are focusing on an online platform and looking forward to have our physical store. Before this, we are more active on Instagram and Shopee, but now we are tried to promote our product on another online platform, which is Facebook. We do think that Facebook is a great platform to promote our product because on Instagram, there are more teenagers, and on Facebook, the range is better. The elderly preferred to use Facebook than another online platform. It does make our business grow.

INTRODUCTION OF BUSINESS 1) Name and address of business The name of the business is Bunny scarves. We decided to use this name based on our product, which is scarves. We do have various types of scarves, such as shawls and square scarves. Those scarves have numerous kinds of material and design. We choose the words bunny because it sounds adorable. Since our target market is women and mostly teenagers, they most likely would be attracted to the charming brand name.

For the business address, since we are not an established brand yet, so we do not have any physical store for the time being. The business mainly operated through an online platform like Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram. We also sell our product on online shopping apps like Shopee and Lazada. We do have dropship and agents from all states in Malaysia to make it easier for our customers or future customer to purchase our product. The main base location was at Jengka, Pahang. From there, we are going to ship our product to customers and agents.

4) Description of Products or Service Bunny Scarves is a business that provides a variety of scarves to our customers with good quality material at affordable prices. The product that we have is shawl, square scarf and also snowcap. Customers who did not like to wear shawls can purchase square scarves from use too. We are not limiting our product to one design only, but we do have different designs scarves with different materials and a variety of choices of color. Customers can choose according to their personal preferences. The snowcap is to make sure the customer more comfortable while wearing their hijab. They can buy it from our shop they did not have to look for it at another shop.

We choose to sell scarves because we want to make sure that all hijabis can be stylish and at the same time comfortable at an affordable price. You do not have to purchase a luxury product to look stylish. We also make sure our scarves are easy to wear, so customers who do not have that much time still can look pretty with our scarves.

We also provide a gift box services it is suitable for anyone to give it to their loved one. In the gift box, we put any scarves they choose. Usually, we give them a gift card and free delivery for them. We also make promotions or sales from time to time. Customers who unable to buy it at the normal price can buy it during promotion. This kind of promotion or sales does help us to gain more customers.

iv) CONCLUSION

In conclusion, Facebook is an excellent platform for a business to introduce and promote their product. All the tools provided in Facebook make it easier for businesses to promote products and develop business. Not only for online business but also for businesses that use face to face method, they can attract customer from Facebook because people nowadays prefer to do some research before going to that place. They can gain all information needed and see good feedback from other customers on Facebook. As for our business Bunny Scarves, before this, we are more focusing on Instagram and Shopee. Facebook does help our business to grow and reach more customers. The platform we use is good enough, but we need to develop our skills and knowledge on how to attract more customers. For example, we need to know what kind of picture and caption to post that can grab customer attention. The platform and skills to attract customer is important for a business to grow. Because, without platform and skills we will not be able to reach and grab target market attention. The product we sell is the most important part, the business should sell a product that is needed by the customer and must have added value so that the product is different from competitors.
