1) The major problem in this case study is about the lack of coordination within the project managers. The managers are having some concerns with their project and they didn’t realize that they are not using their resources efficiently which can lead to different problems. They have no coordination with the project managers. If this thing continues, if the company will not try work together to solve the looming conflicts, it will increase the chance of the company failing. 2) There are some signs or symptoms of the problem. Here’s the first one. Each of the project managers believes that their projects should be much more prioritized than the other managers. Because of the poor coordination the managers can’t seem to weigh properly the significance of their projects. The second one is projects are not being completed at a certain deadline resulting in projects going over budgets. This will cause the company to be down sloping. The third one is the company had planned to meet future competition head on to try to discourage the entry of markets, but this plan will probably not work. The fourth and the last one is the company is hiring inexperienced workers which would decrease productivity. 3) The major cause of the problem is the company’s growing at a rate of 80% per year. This will cause problems to happen quickly. If you looked at the reaction of Sally Peters. She showed that she was “shocked” and most probably she let the company handle itself instead of trying to act right away or preparing plan. There are multiple projects happening at Hector Gaming Company and Sally Peters needs to control the situation, call the attention of all the managers, get the details of the individual projects, and set expectations with each one of them. To create a cure for their problem Sally needs a plan. The first thing that she should do is to get involved in her company and take matters into her hands. She’s the founder of the company so she should act on it as soon as possible because the sooner she gets involved the sooner the conflicts will get solved. The next one is Sally should have to set stricter rules to lower money costs. Here’s an example, if a project does not get finished before the deadline, the manager will have a warning and if he repeats it again there will be a punishment for it. The third action is she should hire a director to help her handle the company more easily and to help make sure these problems never happen again. In addition, this learner suggest that management must support all employees by providing them continuous education through various training and career advancement programs and offer them with required knowledge and training on how to efficiently perform their job in order to release the capacity within the system....
