Your response I would use social, economic, and political to gain a fuller picture of the relationship between Natives and white settlers. The political lens will focus on laws during that time period. The social lens will focus on the different groups of people. The economic lens will focus on the relationships between capital and labor.

Your response In the early 19th century disputes between Native American and white settlers over land. The white settlers tried different tactics against the Native American. Government officials got involved which helped white settlers gain what they desired.

Massasoit's decision came from the suffering from the plague. Which was deadly diseases that the Europeans brought to their homeland.

Your response A long-term consequence was the ongoing war in the 1630's between the Wampanoag and Pilgrims. A short-term consequence would be the mutual defense alliance between the Wampanoag and the Pilgrims.

Your response I feel understanding the different historical events has changed a lot. I have a better understanding of the different lens to analyze the events.

Your response The four lens I would use are military, political, economic, and social. Social lens is for the communication among themselves and others. Military lens is for the troops involved in the removal. Political lens is for the Treaty.

Economical lens the Native Americans lived on rich lands filled with natural sources.

Your response I agree with the statement. The Cherokee National Council threatened to impeach John Ridge. John Ross denounced the treaty. In 1838 Martin Van Buren ordered General Winfield Scott to begin removing the Native Americans....
