Don’t hold back from writing a poem, for it could be the best thing that someone has written. Understanding the poem and how Merriam has written it, it gives the reader an understanding about how they should be able to just express themselves no matter what and that the poem is their canvas to their printed ideas. A poem contains, “...no core, or stem, or rind, or pit, or see, or skin to throw away” so that a person is able to consume everything that is written down and able to portray it properly out of their own works. During this poem a conclusion that everything is free to a person when creating a poem. Meaning, an individual is able to draw, conclude, and create whatever it is that is on their mind to make their poem how it is. They can have it either way they want it to be no matter what the cause.
