Co-worker Engagement Internship at IKEA Social Entrepreneurship Internship period: January 17th - June 5th 2022 Location: Delft, Netherlands Creating greater opportunities world wide with social entrepreneurs IKEA Social Entrepreneurship is all about making a positive impact. By working with pioneers and pathfinders who use their business as a way to make everyday life better for those who need it most, we strive towards a more equal and inclusive society. For better everyday lives There are many millions of people whose lives are a constant struggle to provide for themselves and their families. By backing and working with social entrepreneurs, we create new opportunities and contribute to better everyday lives around the world. Together with dedicated partners and experienced IKEA co-workers, we develop programmes, products and services to scale up social entrepreneurs' businesses and increase their impact. For more information please visit https://www.ikeasocialentrepreneurship.org/en We are now looking for one intern who can support us in our co-worker engagement work. The daily tasks include elements such as • • • • •

Take part in all the steps of the process of engaging co-workers into our accelerator programmes. (design, outreach, interviews, support) Update information on internal website Support to produce presentations for different purposes. Follow up on and create reports of co-workers experiences being part of a programme. Support in overall running programme tasks

We want you to have • • • • •

Interest in people development and related questions Interest and understanding of social impact, social entrepreneurship Ability to connect with relevant stakeholders, and to conduct interviews Microsoft Office Skills; Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skill

Our ideal candidate is someone who have: • • • • • •

Energy, enthusiasm, and a good sense of humor; Strong organizational skills and attention to details. Ability to persevere and stay focused in an environment where there may not always be clear direction or oversight Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment A strong commitment to and interest in, social good and supporting vulnerable communities. Please note that you also have to be eligible to the internship course FEKH03 at LUSEM.

You will be located in Delft, but depending on the Covid situation it could be that you work partly from home according to the regulations at IKEA in the Netherlands and Sweden. We follow the Public Health Agency’s guidelines and recommendations, and assume you will do the same.
