techniques of businesses are used for operations. Now businesses are running by sitting at home and revenue is generated without any physical existence. The Photography business has also shifted to internet. People can take photos from their personal cameras, smart phones and then after editing with latest apps having number of features, it can be uploaded and easily sent to anyone from all over the world. IRC Galleria is one of the most popular websites of photography which has been working for last two decades in Finland. It is a social networking website which has engaged almost 0.5 million registered users from different countries and 0.7 million visitors weekly in more than 100 communities. IRC Galleria was initiated in December, 2009 and its founder is Tomi Lintela and its current CEO is Herdifier Oy.

BUSINESS MODEL IRC Galleria provides a platform where society and technology are connected together. The purpose to start the business is to create a platform for social interaction with the use of technology. The community is engaged together through chatting from different geographical areas. They can share their images through virtual feature of website. The websites’ figures show that more than 60% of youth aging between 13-22 years of Finland only is registered in website. Overall average age of the users who are registered and visited the site is almost 19 years. There is proper registration system of IRC Galleria through which users are registered and it is totally free of cost. The users are allowed to upload 60 accepted images by the community but those who are premium members or VIP members are allowed to upload 10,000 images which can be purchased from the website. The registered members have a unique account with profile image having nicknames. Visitors or unregistered users cannot comment on any content. The VIP members can send personal message to any user. Members can also join different channels and can upload the content. The teenagers get popularity and build links through social interaction and become well-known before entering the practical life. According to the newspaper of Finland; “Helsinki Times” there are some police officers who also joined IRC Galleria and they registered themselves. According to the news police officers were of the opinion that people feel free to interact with police about their personal issues like harassment and online bullying on internet than going to police stations. So IRC Galleria provides a platform to all the citizens belonged from any department to come together and start interaction. IRC Galleria is an online website which generates its revenue through advertisements and optional VIP packages for purchasing of extra limit of uploading pictures. Along that IRC Galleria also sell T-Shirts having customized logos to the youngsters who are interested in taking photos with different slogans and pictures on their shirts. The website does not show its revenue figures.

CONCLUSION The business model of IRC Galleria shows that by using information technology and latest means of communication we can earn online having no initial capital or physical existence in geographical area. The idea in itself is unique which hits the youth or new generation who are more concerned about internet and social media popularity and having excessive knowledge of online websites and social networking. The new generation loves to take images or Photoshop them for gaining attention. IRC Galleria is one of the examples of platform providing by social networking sites. Its owners are earning by sitting at home and maintain the data online regarding every user and advertising agencies. They also manage shipping of T-shirts through courier services and no need to keep the record manually. All the data is kept through IT system. They have the access to user accounts and manage their illegal activities or harassment cases on one click.

SUGGESTIONS FOR PAKISTAN It may apply in Pakistan but strict check must be maintained by the regulatory authorities because it may increase sexual harassment and bullying. Age limit should be 18 years and unwanted images should be banned.
