INTRODUCTION 1.0 Reasons choosing the company There are many reasons why we chose Farm Fresh Company. Among the first reasons is because this company is a company from a local subsidiary. Although the majority of Malaysians love cow's milk, the amount of milk produced and sold in the market by local cows is quite limited. This is because the majority of Malaysian farmers are more interested in selling beef than milk, which requires more sophisticated and time-consuming procedures that require a lot of skill and capital. This became one of the main reasons why so many foreign companies became large industry players in the local dairy industry at the time, which is not surprising. So, with the existence of a dairy company from Malaysia, namely Farm Fresh, we can be proud of the success of local children who are brave enough to compete with dairy companies abroad. The second reason we chose Farm Fresh is because they place a high value on the quality of their dairy products. They pay close attention to the cows' welfare because the quality of the milk is strongly dependent on the cows' physical and psychological well. 2.0 Company’s Background Farm Fresh Milk Company is a brand name under The Holstein Milk Company Sdn Bhd. Is a Malaysian agricultural firm that sells milk to Malaysians. The first dairy enterprise to be based in Malaysia. They began their business in the farmers' market. Mawai Kota Tinggi, Johor is where their primary headquarters are located. Farm Fresh has two factories operating in Bandar Muadzam Shah, Pahang and in Larkin, Johor where the factory production capacity reaches 12 million liters per year with an estimated one million liters per month. It was established in 2009 and Mr. Loi Tuan Eee is the founder of Farm Fresh and the investment arm of the Malaysian government, Khazanah Nasional Berhad, has about 30% stake. In 2014, Farm Fresh set a sales target of RM50 million for its financial year ending March 2015 compared to RM38 million recorded the previous year. Here, we can see that Farm Fresh can reap more profits and make its company stronger and more stable in order to compete with other companies. The company was also appointed by the East Coast Economic Development Council (ECERDC) as the manager of a 240 -hectare cattle farm in Muadzam Shah, Pahang. In December 2019, Farm Fresh announced in the process of listing application and will issue an initial public offering (IPO) in 2020. Malaysia government has given Farm Fresh Milk Company a programme under NKEA EPP-13 in the agriculture sector, led by the Department of Veterinary Services, with the goal of reducing Malaysia's reliance on imported fresh milk. This EPP-13 NKEA is growing the dairy cluster by partnering with important industries to produce and distribute fresh milk on a large scale throughout Malaysia. All imported milk is mostly made up of 97% powdered milk and 3% fresh milk. Farm Fresh initially encountered a number of challenges as a result of not using preservatives to extend the shelf life of the milk. A research and innovation center was also built in Muadzam Shah, Pahang, in the same year. There, they offer employment opportunities to local farmers to work as contract suppliers for Farm Fresh. It can produce about 15,000 liters a day to meet the growing demand of society as the number of Malaysians increases. Farm Fresh plans to expand into other markets such as Selangor and Kuala Lumpur to maintain business continuity. However, they do not have enough capital or staff to deliver their goods. Initially, a lorry company was assigned to bring milk to Kuala Lumpur, but each trip cost several hundred ringgit. To save money on transportation, they came up with the idea to make a direct bus business contract.

Lastly, starting in 2019, Farm Fresh would like to challenge themselves to get out of a comfortable position by becoming the official sponsor of Astro -produced reality TV shows, Gegar Vaganza season six and Big Stage season two. In 2020, the company will be more daring to sponsor more shows by becoming the official sponsor of the Immortal Songs Malaysia show on TV3. This is a smart way to make the Farm Fresh brand more famous not only in Malaysia, but also abroad. Recently Farm Fresh has also ventured into the field of edu-tourism as an alternative measure to strengthen their brand while giving awareness to the community on the importance of the agricultural sector in producing adequate food supply for the national food bank. As a result, the Farm Fresh brand is increasingly known in Malaysia and foreign countries such as Singapore and Australia. Because of its rich and creamy taste, the Farm Fresh brand is now widely recognised among Malaysians as the best local provider of fresh milk in a range of tastes, including yoghurt products. 3.0 Company’s product Farm Fresh implies milk from their farm, then it is delivered to customers naturally.
