If you still can't find the main idea you can summarize the paragraph and get the main idea using your own words. In the song it described that there are two types of main idea. I think it was because of the happiness of understanding something and you can apply it in your everyday life. Just like what the line say ‘Party at the PSSA’, although I don't know what PSSA exactly means, I think it was a kind of examination in their place. This song helps them know the tips and the meaning of the main idea. Now they are joyful that their test will be easy like a party. From its catchy lines, tune, and background guitar song and simple and relatable choose of words on the lyrics; It is no wonder that after hearing the Main Idea song, many of the listeners will understand the main idea. From the simple and relatable lyrics of the song it gave the listener an understanding on what the context is all about. It also helps them easily understand the tips in finding main idea as the lyric was made up of simple and relatable words.
