In mid-2003, one of humorous television commercial made in Fita biscuits entitled

“Kahilingan” (Wish). The advertisement shows a man with a FITA pack, and finally he has just two bits remaining. When he was about to eat the last two pieces, he saw a girl sitting next to him, looking like she wanted some, so the man gave her one slice. Then, as he was about to munch the last slice, the old woman called for a slice as well. Instead of giving the entire slice, the man gave only half of his biscuit and ate the other half. 3

The technique used for this TV commercial is really funny. It can really draw viewers

because of the tactic, we all know that we Filipinos really want those things that make us happy and we have a sense of humor. The technique used is really effective for viewers, since it brings them pleasure, even though the video looks like a corny, it makes sense. 4

Meanwhile, the commercial presented an impressive way to entertain the viewer in

order to stimulate them in the buying of the product. It would be less successful if it were to demonstrate the strength of sale, which is why I think this trade really has had an effect. Aside from comedy, it's also a dramatic scene, and most people are pitiful, which is why they may have captured their attention by adding their comedy to a well thought out advertisement.

Hence, the focus of this commercial is brand advertisement by creating long-term

identity and image. The advert was shown on the screen. Thus, M.Y San Corporation made an impressive marketing campaign until nowadays....
