IBM Micromedex-drug reference, drug interaction, IV compatibility, neonate and pediatric drug reference, care notes (patient education materials) Micromedex Instructions

1) Click on link: http://www.micromedexsolutions.com. 2) Insert Username and Password and then click on log in  

Username = queencc Password = qco54133

3) There will be two choices Care notes and Micromedex-Click on Micromedex Application. 4) Click on the tab-download mobile apps (see picture below)

5) Click on Micromedex apps on mobile devices (see 2nd picture below) then go to the app store and follow instructions for each app with a specific password. (there are 5 mobile apps to upload)

6) Click on training center to register for a webinar/tutorial. (see picture below)

7) Go to overview tab and register for new hire orientation webinar and tutorial for nurses

a) New Hire Orientation Webinars provides a live overview of Micromedex b) The tutorial for nursing is a module and provides specific information directed to the nursing profession.

8) Technical support Contact Number: Dial 1-877-843-6796-if you are having any issues a) Customer ID = 54133 b) When asked what product you are calling about say "Micromedex" c) Send emails for technical/clinical clarification [email protected] (ticket number 1925102)

9) This is the last added feature to Micromedex. “Ask Watson” is artificial intelligence that will provide you immediate answers to specific questions. You can download to your phone by going to website on mobile phone and placing 18192007 in username and password. (SEE PICTURE BELOW) All will be able to access Watson and download app on phone from this website. Please note you will need the internet to access IBM Micromedex® with Watson for Mobile Browsers. For now, it has been provided as a trial because it has been fully implemented on IBM’s end. You can access additional information on Micromedex website. Please share with your students.
