MUL 2010-001 Final Exam Study Guide – Chapters 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15 The final exam will consist of listening, multiple choice, true/false, and matching questions. In studying for the exam, I recommend listening to the below pieces on Spotify/YouTube, reviewing PowerPoints and past two quizzes, and reading your textbook, paying close attention to the detailed listening guides for the pieces we’ve discussed in class. Listening For the exam, I will play a sample of five of the pieces listed below, and I may start at the beginning or in the middle at an important section. If you need to hear a selection an additional time, please raise your hand after I’ve played them all once and I will be happy to play them again. Each listening will have 3-4 accompanying questions regarding significant musical characteristics and information surrounding the composer, genre, and other contextual content that is significant to the piece. 1.
