To the school registrar of lemery colleges, thank you for permitting me to work with you start for 80 hours. Thank you for letting me to express my solidly to work and communicate with other people. As a student of lemery colleges I highly appreciate that you gave me some work experiences and your encouragement to continue reaching my dream. To our beloved school, thank you lemery colleges. Thank you for valuing the greatest importance of On-The-Job-Training to your students to get relevant experience. To the faculty of lemery colleges thank you for your support to making this work immersion possible. Thank you for educating us the importance of On-the-Job-Training. To my family, thank you for your support. Thank you for supporting me financially, mentally and physically. Despite of some problems I encounter during the work immersion. Lastly, to our Almighty God thank you God for giving me good health and energy, for guiding me all along the way to make this work immersion successfully. PART I Introduction On the job training or OJT is one method by which students is given a chance to apply the theories and computations that they have learned from the school. It also helps the students to acquire relevant knowledge and skills by performing in actual work setting. Colleges and universities require their students to undergo such training within a specific number of hours as part of the curriculum. For the students, an OJT or internship program provides opportunities to go through the actual methodologies of a specific job using the real tools, equipment and document. In effect, the work place becomes a development venue for a student trainee to learn more about his chosen field and practice that has learned from academy. On the other hand, an effective OJT program also benefits the companies who accept trainees. First OJT or intern provides additional man power for a lesser labor cost than a regular employee. Most of them are all eager to learn the hopes so chances are high that they will cooperate. OJT’s can bring fresh ideas into the organization. Gives the opportunity to speak their minds freshly and without fear, they may be able to contribute significantly in brainstorming sessions or research and eventually help to improve the organizations productivity. While training the interns, employers are in fact also teaching their employees to process of guiding the trainees stretches their patients, develop teaching skills and make them more sensitive to the needs and mind set of the younger generation. The course of supervision also teaches them how to share what they know

and be receptive to questions. Hence the internship also becomes an avenue in training for future manager of the company. Student should not take OJT for granted because if you will get a high evaluation grade, your employer might nine you graduate. Your background OJT is very important when applying for a job. Oftentimes employers will ask you the relevance of your training to your course and to the position you are applying for. I will be your training ground if you will have no idea on what a meant to be a worker. OJT will give a hint of career realities. Your OJT superior might as well recommend your skill to other companies whom he knows.

PART II NARATION OF EXPERIENCE

Day 1: January 7, 2019 On my first day, Maam Ma. Jobel Macatigbak introduced us to the School Principal of Lemery Colleges Dr. Marifel M. Salazar. Maam Macatigbak oriented us about the tasks that we need to do. Day 2: January 8, 2019 On our second day of OJT, our first task that we accomplished was sorting of certificate of Mandanas’ recipients. We were very nervous that time because that was our first job and we don’t want to disappoint our trainers. Day 3: January 9, 2019 On this day, Dr. Salazar asked us to give the certificates to Mandanas’ recipients in their classrooms for MWF students. That was not easy for us because, we had a hard time to find their classrooms yet we felt happy because we were able to accomplish another task. Day 4: January 10, 2019 On the next day, Dr. Salazar asked us again to give the certificates to Mandanas’ recipients in their classrooms for TTHS students. That was not easy for us because, we

had a hard time to find their classrooms yet we felt happy because we were able to accomplish the same task. Day 5: January 11, 2019 On the 5th day of our OJT, Dr. Salazar told us to check every room if they have teacher or none. We are tired because we go up from first floor to fourth floor it is big challenge to us. Day 6: January 14, 2019 On the 6th day of our OJT, we helped Ate Brijet to clean the office and computer lab and Mam Macatigbak we asked to arrange and to fixed the narrative report submitted to other students of HUMSS Day 7: January 15, 2019 On this day. Sir Michael asked to help him to fixed and arrange the for of college in alphabetical order. And we help again Ate Brijet to clean the office of Dr. Salazar Day 8: January 21, 2019 On my 8th day of training, we help Ate Brijet to clean the lab I and lab II because we have a visitors on that day.

Day 9: January 22, 2019 On my 9th day of my OJT Sir Michael told us to help him to clean the new guidance of college. We transfer some documents from old guidance room to new guidance room. We are happy because we encountered college students there. Day 10: January 23, 2019 On my last day of training, we arrange the books in the library we help Ms. Librarian to arrange and to cover a lot of books And since that was the last day of my training, to give thanks to our trainers, we prepared foods to them to show how thankful we were for teaching and helping us to comply to our requirements as a Grade 12 Graduating Student

PART III RECOMMENDATION AND SIGNIFICANCE RECOMMENDATION As a trainee inside the department the trainee must be discipline and well prepared for easy task that will be given. Therefore in the work area you will apply the principles you learned in school and you will develop good work habits, attitudes, appreciation, and respect for work. To the administration, I recommend to respect those trainees inside the work place and to support and to understand them if they make some mistake inside the work area. Additionally, have a long patience to teach them and guide them inside the work area so that they will learn lesson in the work area. To the school, I recommend to teach the students well and make them aware of what they are going to do. Therefore, I also recommend giving credit to the administrations that the trainee attended or make partnership to the company that will contribute to enhance their student potential. To the parents, I recommend supporting them financially, emotionally, and physically, learn to be aware on what their child is doing during the work immersion in this side the students need the cooperation of their parents. To the future trainees, I recommend that you must be patient and act with respect and discipline in the people you are interacting with Additionally, I recommend being

open minded on what the department head are saying be mature to learn from your own mistakes. Summarizing all my recommendations, I recommend respecting all the people that they are going to interact and always act with values and discipline.

Significance Work immersion or On-the-Job-Training will help us to develop our career skills and it will prepare us to make decision in our employment. It provides scenarios to test ourselves and apply what we have learned in a non-school scenario. During work immersion we are not only able to apply are previous training but somehow, it enables us to experience that trainee will gather will help to develop may skills and values that would help the trainees as they transfer from senior high school real life. As a trainee, work immersion is important because it gives me the opportunity to experience what is happening inside the work area. Also, it gives me knowledge on how we should take our future career. Work immersion will mold the students today to compatible in their future career and how they work and communicate with their future team.

PART IV SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION SUMMARY To summarize, during the work immersion you will gather information to enhance the knowledge and experience. As an HUMSS Trainee of Lemery Colleges I gain so much experience in the work area. The opportunity let me experience on how to do things that is very unusual to me with the proper guidance of our instructor inside the company. I learned on how to do things on my own, I learned how to value my availability of time and also, I’m used to interact socially with the people that supports me and I’m sure that someday this opportunity will be able to help and give a big contribution in our chosen career. This experience gives a big impact in our lives as a trainee because this let us stand on our own as a worker and it is a great milestone happened in our lives by molding us to be well prepared and oriented in the near future.

Conclusion I therefore conclude that work immersion must be experience by every student because it gives us a chance to immerse ourselves on our chosen field. It’s not so easy because it is time consuming, we need to provide money for the transportation and also it affects our physical stability but still it’s all worth in the end because me, my self-notice how productive and skillfully I am now, I learned lot of things inside the work area, I met new people within and they became my friends at the same time. New relationship occurred between us a trainee and them us our instructor. Work immersion really measured how we adapt on our environment that’s why each students like me are supposed to enter the work area in their specific field. It is a great chance, opportunity and moment because we can discover lot of things hidden in ourselves and it will really help us understand situation and of course, in our profession someday.
