On which type of goal orientation do you score highest? ________________________

Print the results of your assessments or take a picture and upload the picture, reflect on your psychological profile and genetic traits as well as your orientation toward work. Attach the printout or results page to your paper. Analysis of Results Evaluate your Meyer’s Briggs results and the results of the Big 5 Personality Assessment as they relate to management functions and skills discussed in the SHRM article shared online or at this link https://www.shrm.org/hr-today/news/hr-magazine/book-blog/pages/the-top-10-managementskills-you-need.aspx. Taking these two assessments will give you additional insights into your personality characteristics and your suitability for management. After taking the assessments, ask yourself: 1). What information in your profile supports you as a manager? 2). What are the areas that might need further development based on the profile, or that indicate you might not be a good manager at this point? * These assertions must be supported with the assigned reading and/or sources you find on your own. The sources must be cited. You are expected to cite at least four sources using APA. 3). Do you agree/disagree with the outcomes of the assessments? 4). In what ways do the results currently manifest themselves in your life or not? In what ways are the results of the assessments similar or different? 5). What difference will these results make in your life as a leader/manager? Include in the overall analysis of your readiness for management and use any experience that you have had either as a manager or in any type of leadership position (including work, school, volunteering, etc.) as examples throughout the report. For example, if you were president of a club in high school or college, how did the members view you in terms of leadership, planning skills, organization, and control? How did you enjoy the experience? What did you learn? Written Report Once you have taken the online instruments and analyzed your results, compile the data into a two-three-page business report, summarizing the outcomes and your reflections.

Paper Organization: This should be written as a business report. Here is a link to the format for a business report https://slideplayer.com/slide/762092/2/images/3/Business+Report.jpg. The information should be easy for me to read—concise and clear. Use headings throughout the report. First page: Title, Name etc. centered on the page; introductory paragraph that includes a hook, previews contents of report, and a thesis statement; the body, with headings—Heading Examples: Assessment of Outcomes, Comparing Results, and Application of the Results to Management and Leadership, conclusion, and a reference page (minimum of four sources-book and other sources). Sources should be cited in APA format. Report should be no longer than three pages (double space between paragraphs single space within paragraphs) and a minimum of two full pages. Your paper will be assessed based on four major areas: Organization and Report Format (followed instructions outlined in the assignment, followed format of a business report (single spaced within paragraphs, double spaced between, block format, name and heading centered at top, used section headings, etc.), Content and Critical Thinking (analysis and synthesis of results and application of results to leadership and management), Grammar and Mechanics (see instructions on writing in the syllabus), and APA Formatting (sources, including the textbook and assigned reading, used to support ideas and cited in APA format at the end of the report). Submitting Report When you have completed your report, please upload the document as a Microsoft Word document (including a screen shot of your results) in Blackboard under the Turnitin Assignment Tab....
