2 WHY MORE GUN CONTROL LAWS MUST BE ENACTED Why More Gun Control Laws Must Be Enacted We all know that Americans own numerous guns than any other nation. We can say that Tthe gun violence in Unites States can be said to to be uniquely destroying in terms of the numerous lives of people those are affected by the violence. According to some statistics and numbers since, 1968 when the details were connected the number increased to 1,516,863 which resulted in gun related deaths all over US territory. There have almost been 1,396,733 war deaths. These figures of deaths not only include gun violence but these include American lives lost during the revolutionary war, civil war, Mexican war, Second World War and due to many other furious conflicts. When we hear tThe term “gun violence” when strikes, usually we might assume of the large- scale- mass shootings which recently occurred in Las Vegas on Sunday, where almost 59 people were brutally killed. Apart from that there has also been approximately 33, 000 deaths due to gun violence which happens each year. Exactly about 1.5% happens due to mass shootings. [ CITATION Mon17 \l 1033 ] America is known for highest gun death rates among the World in the United States. During 2016 President Barack Obama also navigated on the national issues of conversation to guns. Obama also stressed on the urgency exhibited “Common-Sense Gun Safety Reform” this meant that people who are involved in the business of selling firearms must be licensed it was mainly a law enhanced for boosting gun-safety technology. According to some injury statistics almost more than 100,000 people have been killed due to firearms. It is said that America has had innumerable mass shootings in the past 15 years when compared with other nations. According to America’s bureau of firearms and explosives stated that the United Sates gun makers manufactured approximately nine million guns during 2014 and almost 230 million guns

[ CITATION Gun17 \l 1033 ] When we compare these gun control laws with other countries we can see a big difference in about why those countries have strict gun control laws and fewer death rates compared to United States. Focusing on Canada and its gun control laws as it maintains major restrictions on the variety of guns and who can purchase them. It puts all its guns into three categories prohibited, restricted and non- restricted. All the dangerous guns have much crucial regulations and restrictions on gun purchases. Another, The Next, taking United Kingdom maintains the most authoritarian gun laws in the West and also the World. This explicitly explains why it has the lowest levels of gun homicides. The normal handguns are banned until there is some special permission taken from the home secretary. Gun owners also should go through a thorough background checks and their licenses must be renewed every five years. [ CITATION Ger17 \l 1033 ] All these terrible deaths and injury statistics are is happening because the structure of United States government. Also the big bewildering issue is that there is lack of motivation for senators in the rural areas to vote “yes” on the gun reform debate. Also many people can buy guns without many problems. Looking at these we can say that United States has some relaxed gun laws around the World. Under some federal laws fully automated weapons are technically legal. I think the United States government must focus on the ongoing issues and the mass shootings that have occurred during early decades and also the present environment. Millions of innocent people are being killed due to relaxed laws. It would be very effective if America takes immediate actions and reform their gun laws and controls.
