This video was about a that offered a deeper level of learning for students in a topic or field of study that they were interested in. They had a major topic that they got to choose and had advisory group to keep them on track and accountable. At the end of the semester/ year they were able to present their project to their classmates and advisors in a “science fair” layout to show the work that they have accomplished.

I think this is a great example of communication I would like to have in my classroom someday. Being able to be the type of teacher that has a constant line of communication with their students. Consistently checking up on them, seeing where they are at, and helping them when they need it. I think it is also important to note that in order to be able to be a constant support for your students, your students need to feel and know that you are there for them. I can’t tell you how many teachers I have had that have said the words “if you need help I am always here to help you”, but when you approached them they were put off that I needed help or even unapproachable. So saying what you mean and meaning what you say.

in a classroom setting as a teacher you set the tone for your students and their engagement. If you had a rough night the day before and you bring that into the classroom the next day and you're and little bit down, students will be able to see it.
