Dear Kitsby’s director, Iva Selco: My name is Purvik Salat and I’m new Human Resources Assistant in a prominent physiotherapy clinic, Kitsby Physiotherapy, headquartered in Vancouver British Columbia. I need to devise a strategy for changing the workforce and informing you of the various benefits of diversity, and I have plenty of points to do so. In addition, I have some concreate arguments on the diversity issue. Furthermore, one of my friends works at the Schulich School of Medicine and Density, which has a progressive diversity policy. I spoke with him, and he provided me with a wealth of information regarding the diversity advantage, as well as a single webpage where I could obtain additional information. So, I'm here to make you aware of your diversity challenges and to suggest some solutions. I can give the following details from a practical perspective: • a complete diversity and inclusion strategy based on four essential pillars: 1. 2. 3. 4.
culture and identify gender intelligence cross generational intelligence differently abled people
• I agree that a diverse and inclusive workplace culture promotes a more positive and innovative workplace culture. • Also, I believe that if a team is more varied, it is more likely to produce extremely inventive work. • However, clinics have a difficult time selecting criteria for selecting the proper individual. I believe I would simply use academic background as a criterion. However, I need to keep my criteria up to date and diverse. I did not say that you should amend your policy, but I did say that it has certain drawbacks when you consider its merits. Furthermore, gains outnumber downsides, and some steps overlook disadvantages. I believe that recruiting managers should look for unique qualities in each interview and should broaden the criteria for selecting the best candidate, which will have a beneficial and powerful impact on our company.
