Cinderella Attraction of this tale has a lot to do with its theme of virtue revealed and rewarded - it invites us to recall times when we felt ourselves unappreciated and rejected It would be interesting to know what version perrault used as the basis for Cinderella since in a number of respects it is quite unique and no other tail for example do we find a fairy godmother transforming a pumpkin into a coach mice into horses or lizards into Luckys and no other tail contains that famous glass slipper
