Description

I drive from Plano to Arlington from Monday to Thursday and it takes about 40 minutes on highway. As a person who likes driving, it is not a big deal. The biggest deal for me is parking at UTA. Literally, I have to either buy a 70 dollars parking permit to park my car or pay $5 at parking meters for 2 hours parking. I have a shameful experience with parking. As a nontraditional student, I thought it is not necessary for me to buy the parking permit for just one summer course. Thus, I found out that I could park in front of the bookstore for free for 2 hours although the parking lot was designated for customers. One day, a public safety officer was waiting for me in front of my car. When I asked him if anything is wrong, he said he was watching me walking from the campus, not bookstore or Starbucks. He said the parking lot is for the customers for the shops only and warned me that he will give me a ticket if he finds my car out next time. There is no parking space available for students who come to 2 hours class. I wish there is a space available for students who come to campus for a short period of time....
