Description

VARK QUESTIONNAIRE Actually this was my first time of taking this type of inventory, and I was surprise that the modality like this in which students can use for their learning information can be helpful. It really helps me to identify my learning style. Though I was a little bit surprise of the learning style. When I took VARK Questionnaire, my learning preference shows that I am a Multimodal (ARK) which simply means I like listening, discussing, talking, questioning, notes, handouts, print, text, practical exercises, experiences, examples, case studies, trial and error, things that are real. In this case if I apply this learning preference to my study it will really help me a lot.

My previous studying strategies was not really helpful to me neither was my study habits effective. I was always finding it difficult to understand what I’m being taught because most time it is not always easy to study alone especially in a Distant Learning. I think Multimodal (ARK) which is a mixed of Aural/Auditory (A), Read/Write (R), and Kinesthetic (K). Though I am more of Kinesthetic, I learn from experience, examples, practice and simulation which include demonstration and videos as well as case studies, practice and applications. Will be more helpful to me this week. Reference (VARK, n.d), The VARK Modalities. Retrieve from https://varklearn.com/introduction-to-vark/the-vark-modalities/ Last week, we started focusing on how to correctly quote and how to correctly paraphrase.
