Reading EATING VEGETABLES Vegetables are very good for our health. Everybody should eat them regularly. There are many reasons for this. First, you don’t always cook them. You can eat some of them fresh. Second, it is very easy to find. They grow everywhere. Third, they have fiber that is very good for digestion. In addition, vegetables have low calories. So you don’t gain weight. Moreover, vegetables prevent some diseases such as heart disease and cancer. Beside these, vegetables have vitamins and minerals. Lastly, vegetables have very good taste and smell. You have many reasons to include vegetables in your food habits. VEGETABLES People love eating vegetables. Do you? In fact there are many reasons to eat vegetables. Vegetables are good and healthy. There are different kinds of vegetables to taste. There are so many ways to eat vegetables. Eating vegetables keeps us healthy and fit. As dietitians say we should eat vegetables everyday. Vegetables are colorful and delicious. They taste good and it is better to eat vegetables with other foods. Vegetables are classified according to which part of the plant is eaten. Some vegetables fit into more than one category when several different parts of the plant are edible, e.g. both the roots and leaves of beetroot can be eaten. 1) Can you write 3 examples for each?
