Work Breakdown Structure: Pricing Label and Mobile App Estimations In the following Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), the months listed are actual calendar months during which the pricing label and mobile App will be developed and deployed to Walmart Store. A thorough project evaluation and review technique has been adopted in the following WBS to aid determine project milestone towards keys deliverables. The period planned for the project is an actual timeframe that key tasks will be accomplished. After completing and deploying App and Electronic Shelf Labels (ELS), the project will enter into a beta (Operation and Maintenance). At this stage, Walmart and its chain of stores will use the application to aid accomplish their key objective. The application will be developed and deployed within six months according to the client expectation. Any price adjustment will be communicated to the Client for proper arrangement to be made to meet key project objectives. The figure only details work breakdown structure for the project without including the actual cost for development and implementation of the Mobile application and price label system for Walmart. However, WBS will help as an important guideline to enable project manager and the client track the progress of the application development throughout the project milestone. It also acts as an important tool for cost estimation for the development of the projects deliverables. The period allocated for the development of the application for Walmart is ample to deliver functional and operating App plus ELS to aid their employees and managers track their products easily and tag prices using Mobile App and electronic shelf label. It will also aid the project team and managers determine key resources to assist in the design and development of the mobile application. As the project continues, the project team will accomplish various tasks prior to the timeframe allocated. In light to that, the project manager will continuously refine WBS throughout the development process to attain certain challenging tasks during the project milestone.
