Description

Surname 1 Annotated Bibliography: Global Warming Aizebeokhai, Ahzegbobor P. “Global warming and climate change: realities, uncertainties, and measures.” International Journal of Physical Sciences, 4(2010):13, 868-879. The author of this article is recognized as a great scholar in the field of science. He works in the covenanted university in the department of physics in Nigeria. In his article, he tries to confirm that the issue of climate change and global warming is real and they are taking place in different corners of the world where they are affecting the normal atmosphere. He highlights various evidence that confirms that the increasing concentration of atmospheric gases from the greenhouses is a result of human activities and which are concluded to be responsible for global warming and sudden climate cycles. He discusses various uncertainties about the coming future on how the random climate cycles and global warming will influence the functionality of the ecosystem (Aizebeokhai 868). In his discussion, he gives some of the important innovative geoengineering measures which would make well use of the available resources by reducing returns from the invested inputs which will help in reducing the emissions gases from greenhouses. He gives a critical analysis of the global warming evidence which re-delivered from the independent measurements. All the findings from the analysis give complementation to each other which makes the article worth using in analyzing the global warming evidence. The article will be useful in my project by giving the actual data recordings on the result obtained from measures taken in surface temperature and the random changes which were recorded. I will also be able to use this source in analyzing the observations made from the surface temperature carried in my experimental designs thus making comparisons of what the article highlights. Mukhopadhyay, Biswjit. “Global warming–a threat to the planet.” American International Journal of Biology, 1(2014), 29-34.

Surname 2 The author of the article is an American international in the department of biology. He clearly basis his argument on the impacts of global warming on the planet earth. In his argument, the author describes global warming as a very serious issue in the whole world. He also describers greenhouse emission and anthropogenic activities as the main sources of global warming today the mention of fossil fuel burning and emission of carbon iv oxide leads to the increase of global temperatures which leads to catastrophic impacts on the natural climate across the world. He argues on the rise of ocean temperatures where he claims this results in ecological balance impacts and loss of marine species. The author in the article explains how the natural environment is slowly changing as a result of global warming which harms human beings and animals (Mukhopadhyay 29). He highlights several harmful processes that have negatively affected the normal functioning of the ecosystem. The article is therefore useful in my research project since it highlights some of the threats which are brought by the interference of the natural environment. I will, therefore, use this article in discussing different raised opinions which the public concerning the issue of global warming by taking their view on the issue and the possible solutions they feel the issue can be addressed in a way of controlling its impacts or even coming up with a permanent solution since it has come to be a global crisis. Hussain, Majid., Malik, Riffat N., & Taylor, Adam. “Carbon footprint as an environmental sustainability indicator for the particleboard produced in Pakistan.” Environmental Research, 155(2017), 385-393. The author of this article is a great scholar in the field of environmental science. Hussain and the teams dig deep in understanding both basic and complex aspects of the natural environment. The research study in this article discusses on the quantity of carbon footprint in Haripur University. The article starts by giving how the research was done to ensure accurate data

Surname 3 recording in the article thus making the information given more trustworthy on any extensive research. All the calculations on the findings were calculated by the use of the IPCC 2007 greenhouse protocol. After the research findings, the writer confirmed that the university has been exposing the high amount of carbon IV oxide to the environment between the years 2016 and 2017 (Hussain et., al 385). 38% of the total emission came from all activities which involved the use of electricity. The article gives a chronological order of how the research was done and how the team was able to come up with findings. This article is therefore important in giving exact data calculations of how the electricity functions are a great source of carbon IV oxide gasses which are for a long time proved to be a threat to the global atmosphere. This article will be useful in my topic project in developing alternatives that should be used instead of electricity to reduce the emission of carbon IV oxide to the atmosphere.it will also help be in researching various human activities that cause global warming across the world. Mustapha, Mohamad A., Manan, Zainuddin A., & Alwi, Sharifah R. “A new quantitative overall environmental performance indicator for a wastewater treatment plant.” Journal of Cleaner Production, 167(2017), 815-823. The article has been prepared by great scholars in the field of environmental science. They both have a similar aim in highlighting facts on how important could it be to the environment of the issue of waste treatment would be used. The team discusses the use of the new index indicator in determining how applicable waste treatment will result in reducing the sudden change of climate. The article reveals the environmental performance of wastewater treatment plants. How the industries in turkey should treat the waste from the industries to reduce the impacts of this waste to the natural environment since they contain chemicals that affect and destroys the natural ecosystem. The article gives unbiased data recordings on carbon IV oxide emissions which were

Surname 4 produced from the industrial wastes between August and September respectively (Mustapha et al 816). The article is significant in giving highlights of the effects of untreated wastes from the industries to natural ecosystems. This article will, therefore, be useful in my research topic by deeply researching the impacts of industrialization on the concerns of global warming.it will also help me in developing scientific techniques of industrial water treatments. Li, Mengmeng., Wang, Tijian., Xie, Min., et al. “Modeling of urban heat island and its impacts on thermal circulations in the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region, China. “Theoretical and applied climatology, 128(2016), 3-4: 999-1013. The article contains theoretical and applied climatology discussions on the effects of island heating in china. It describes the characteristics of hourly variations in urban heat island and the effects of heating intensity. The article clearly basis its argument in the Tianjin China heating periods which took place from 2009 to 2017. The results in the study, therefore, indicated that heating intensity somehow declined due to the usual normal rise of the temperatures in the last 9 years. The article also gives highlights on the average annual heating data recordings which range between 8% and 10% with an increase of 2%. This article helps give the actual effects which come with global warming (Li et al 1000). To be able to explain efficiently on global warming, this article gives an overview of what global warming is to the natural ecosystem. The article also gives the biological impacts of global warming on human beings and animals. It will be therefore important in my research project topic in explaining the background history of the whole idea of global warming to the natural environment and how it interferes with the natural climate changes.
