Ashley’s Nail Salon (ANS) will be an established sole proprietorship in Atlanta, Georgia. It will be owned by Ashley Brown and Chaun Legend will operate. Chaun Legend is a celebrity nail technician so he is well respected in the nail industry. Ashley Brown is a certified nail technician who can work in professional settings. There will be 4 state approved nail technicians that can do pedicures and manicures. We will also hired 2 esthetician to do waxing and treatments and have a receptionist, and maintenance person.

ANS is being established because of the shortage of nail salons in this metropolitan area. There are at least 10 nail salons but all those nail salons will not be able to assist a population of 463,878. Plus, majority of nail salon will not give customers a great service with high quality work. Therefore, our nail salon will be attracting people to come in. Not only that, the location where our nail salon will be is well known because many tourists come to sightsee the city. In our facility, we will 2 rooms for waxing and treatments.One room we will have 4 pedicure and manicure stations. Our mission is to provide a safe and loving environment. We strive to give our customers a peaceful and relaxing experience. It is our intent to give our clients over beyond treatment and to perform a service with patience. Market research shows that there is a lot of room for more nail salons especially because the nail industry is earning 60 billion dollars and there are availability in jobs. Also, there is profit in this business, an average nail owner gains a annual revenue of 80,000 dollars. Our nail salon is expect to do very well in the opening. The nail salon plans on expanding after two years are completed. The next location will be in Savannah, Georgia. In order to start, the nail salon we would like to be provided with 60,000 dollars from investors. Investors will be repaid in the next four years.

Service description-We provide acrylics, gel manicures, regular manicure, pedicure spa. Acrylics is nails that are artificially made from the acrylic powder to give the nail a longer length. Gel manicures is when we use the gel polish to give your nails a shinier look and make it look more polish. A regular manicure is when we push your cuticles back,shape your,nails,paint and it with color and do a clear coat. A pedicure is when we massage your feet, clean your toe nails, shape them and paint them. Location- Ashley’s Nail Salon is located in 752 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, Georgia, 30301. Inspiration- I came up with idea to create a nail salon in my class. The reason why I’m so passionate about this is because I am a creative person that loves art and when you see nail designs you see that the artist really express themselves in their work. Also, I believe every female and male deserves a time to be taken care of and be pamper. I feel like it’s very necessary to take care of your nails and give it the proper care that it needs. I expect that when you go to a nail salon it’s suppose to make you feel happy because of the experience you just received. Vision Goals- My short term goal is for my business to have a big customer growth within the first 6 months of opening. I want my business to be well known in the community. I want people to say go to “Ashley’s Nail Salon you won't regret it.” My main goal is ensure that the safety of my clients and let them have a pleasant experience in my nail salon. My long term goal is to have another nail salon open after the first five years of my first nail salon. I want my nail salon to be located in local areas such as Savannah, Georgia. I will reach my target market by promoting. I will create a website for people to to see photos, prices, and to find ways to contact me if they have questions. I will use social media networks like Instagram where we will post all the nail designs that we created for our customers and allow people to follow us and hashtag us. We will have a Facebook page. We will create a yelp page so our customers can write up reviews about their experience in my nail salon. We will do a promotion where if clients continue coming to our nail salon for 5 times we will give them a 30 percent discount on their nail service of choice. If they refer someone to our nail salon we will give them full set acrylic nails for free.
