The purpose of this memo is to display my findings of the audience profile of the Boeing Company in relation to the Boeing Business Intern Program- Summer 2019. This internship opportunity is available on Washington State University’s handshake website that connects students with Internship and potential job opportunities on and off campus. Summary Overall, what I learned about the Boeing Company’s hiring process in regards to the Boeing Business Intern Program 2019 was that Boeing is a Company that encourages local talent from the Seattle area, gives a sense of direction in what the hiring process looks like as well as recommendations on what helps a candidate stand out in the hiring and application process.

Overview The application and interview process for the Boeing Business Intern Program is a fairly streamlined process. The audience that is reviewing the application process of this internships understand and know what they are looking for in an applicant. The overall mood of the reader would be that they are searching for a candidate that has clearly defined experience that can be quantifiable. On the internship information website some of the tips they provide are to be specific on your resume, create an online profile on their employment portal, to visit a Boeing booth at a career fair, and to demonstrate your passion. These tips point out what Boeing is looking for in an applicant. It expresses the necessity of having a clear and specific resume. The Reader of my resume at the Boeing company will more than likely be in the Human Resources Department and will also probably be college educated and would of had a lot of previous experience with the hiring process. Their responsibilities include providing the structure and the end goals of the type of candidate they are seeking. The Reader’s characteristics will be that they are motivated, organized, and professional. The interaction during the interview will definitely be serious and structured The Reader will definitely will be looking for a candidate with demonstrated experience in his or her field. It is important to point out the mood of the Reader while Reading are going to be hopeful they find a candidate that matches up with the person they are looking for this position....
