Forbes, Taylor Prof. Elaine Harris College/Life Strategies 04 October, 2020 Budget Reflection Watching the presentation and listening to the guest speaker, I learned quite a few things that I didn’t know. Because I took the Financial Literacy course in high school, I knew just about everything as far as building credit, keeping and maintaining a good credit score, and how it affects my everyday life. But as far as budgeting, I learned quite a few tips and tricks that could better help me in the long run.

I was also able to specifically apply what the guest speaker informed us with during the presentation in a major way. Like paying for my needs first, putting money into savings, and spending the rest on what I want.
Watching the guest speaker demonstrate how to sort money better as well as build credit, while also spending on what I want, helped me understand that money doesn’t have to be an issue if I use it wisely....
