The objective of watching this film and answering these questions is to: 1) Understand how climate change is affecting the cryosphere and consider how these changes might affect the planet. Directions: Answer all questions and submit the completed document by Friday, March 26 at 11:59 pm through the submission portal in Course Materials > Units 38. Please submit it as an attachment. Do not cut and paste your answers in to the submission portal. You will work together to answer these question with your group, but strive to write the answers in your own words. Do not answer the questions by using single words or short phrases. Instead, your answers should be in full sentences. Versions of these questions may appear on Exam III.

1. What are some of the natural disasters that have been attributed to global warming? Forest fires, hurricanes, floods, drought, heat wave and storms

2. What are some of the arguments that climate change is not occurring? The Globe has been cooling since 2002.

3. Why was Balog initially skeptical about climate change? The Global Warming idea was based on computer models. Maybe there was a lot of hyperbole that was turning this into an activist cause. Did not think that humans could change the basic physics and chemistry f this entire huge planet. 4. What is the cryosphere? The place where water is in its solid form, frozen into ice or snow. 5. What did Balog realize when he photographed the Solheim Glacier in Iceland six months apart?
