Turnitin is an originality checking and plagiarism prevention tool that enables checking of submitted written work for improper citation or misappropriated content. Each Turnitin assignment is checked against other students' work, the Internet and key resources selected by your Course Coordinator. If you are instructed to submit your assessment via Turnitin, you will find the link to the Turnitin submission in your Moodle course site. If you submit your assessment after the due date, you may incur penalties for late submission. Ask your Course Coordinator or tutor on what these penalties may be or check your course outline. You can read more in the UNSW Assessment Implementation Procedure.

You are expected to manage your time to meet assessment due dates. If you do require an extension to your assessment, it is very important that you ask your Course Coordinator or tutor first and request your extension as early as possible before the due date.

Special consideration is the process for assessing the impact of short-term events beyond your control (exceptional circumstances), on your performance in a specific assessment task. The survey is completed in Module 8 of the course. The Future of Work Self survey will be available in the myBCom platform from 22 February, 2021 and should be completed by the end of Week 9 (Sunday 18 th April) 25%. (Satisfactory / Unsatisfactory) Survey The survey will take approximately 1 hour to complete, including the self reflection task on the results Via myBCom Platform (mybcom.unsw.edu.au)

You may already have some plans of the type of career you want when you complete your degree. In the Future Work Self survey you will answer a series of questions that will show you how you think about who you want to be in the future. At the end of the survey, you will be provided with a report that provides feedback on a number of important work ‘strengths’ based on your responses. You will be asked to reflect on the reported strengths at the conclusion of the activity. You will use the results from the Future Work Self survey more formally when completing your myPlan (Assessment 3).

To successfully complete this assessment item, you need to complete both the survey and the self reflection.

At a number of points during myBCom Blueprint you will be asked complete a number of different learning activities. Example activities include creating a video introduction; watching interviews with current students and then capture the key learnings/ takeaway thoughts you have from these interviews.

To successfully complete this assessment item, you need to complete all required activities in myBCom Blueprint.

Due no later than end of Week 10. Plans can be submitted at any point during the term, as soon as you have completed COMM0999. NB: You need to complete the Future of Work Self survey BEFORE completing myPlan. You can access information about the assignment and the myPlan template in the myBCom platform from 22 February, 2021 50% (Satisfactory/ Unsatisfactory) Writing task. Use the template available in Module 9 in myBcom Blueprint course Max 850 words Via Moodle course site, through Turnitin .

At the end of COMM0999 you are asked to write a plan for a goal that you want to achieve during your first year in the program. More information is available in Module 9 in myBCom Blueprint course

Submit your myPlan via the TurnItIn submission box on the course Moodle site, You can submit your plan at any point during the term, once you have completed the COMM0999 coursework. Each week of term a new TurnItIn submission box will be available so you can submit your myPlan as soon as you have completed the document. You may only submit ONE version of your myPLAN. TurnItIn submission closes Week 2
