Complications & Actions to Prevent: Pathophysiology: Complex disorder involving dysregulation of multiple pathways in its pathophysiology. Dopaminergic, glutamatergic, and GABAergic neurotransmitter systems are affected in schizophrenia.



Depression – therapeutic communication, build a rapport with patient. Anxiety – calm, empathetic personality, and quiet environment.
