Learning Competency: Mode of Delivery I. OBJECTIVE:
determine which human practices in using natural resources are sustainable and not sustainable; and suggest ways on how to use the natural resources sustainably.

C. EXPLORE
The student will answer Activity 1 page 2 of their Learning Activity Sheet. The teacher will discuss the objectives and the procedure of the activities. Let the students perform the activity and answer the guide questions. Activity 1: Treasures in Your Community Directions. Cite at least five examples of earth resources present in your locality/place. Identify whether they are renewable or non-renewable and explains ways to sustain them. Copy and complete the table below.

After watching the video, the students will answer the Guide Questions: 1. What are the different energy resources?
1.Renewable energy resources such as Solar energy, Hydropower, Geothermal energy, Biomass and wind energy. Non renewable resources such as oil, natural gas, coal, nuclear energy, fossil fuels.

In order for the students to understand further about the topic, the teacher will give another activity. The students will be divided into three groups.
