Find an article pertaining to international relations/ world politics. Some topics/concepts/organizations you might want to consider are: US foreign policy, NAFTA, NATO, European Union, WTO, IMF, World Bank, etc. Feel free to choose any topic/ article as long as it pertains to international relations and is from a reliable source (see syllabus for more details). What is the title of the article? Who is the author? What is the source (i.e. website)? (Please provide a link to the article) US election: Trump sceptical of Russia meddling Us election 2016 & Anthony Zurcher

BBC http://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2016-37320532

In 1-2 paragraphs summarize the article (i.e. what is the topic of the article, what does the article discuss, is the author making any particular arguments or presenting a certain viewpoint? or is the article more descriptive?) Reporters are wondering if Russia is meddling ins US elections. When Mr Trump was asked on a Russian backed show interview whether Russia is try to meddle in the US elections he said “"I think it's probably unlikely," he said. "I think maybe the Democrats are putting that out.” With Trump’s praise of Putin, other Russians hoping for a win and Trump going on a Russianowned RT how could you not think Trump and Russian have teamed up. Let's not forget about when Mr. Trump asked Russian intelligence to hack into Hillary's email account. The author is giving us facts that led us to think that Trump and Russia are teaming up or Russian is backing Trump alone. He gives us both sides by also talking about how Trumps people could have saved him from going on RT and people thinking the worse of their Republican candidate. Can you connect this article to something we have been discussing in class? (i.e. paradigms, nature of international system, etc)? Can you note any bias in the article (political bias, pushing a certain argument/ viewpoint, etc)? (The Realist Paradigm) -

When i think back to the Realist Paradigm that talks about international relations being driven by an unrelenting pursuit of power. If Russia gets favor from american again from a Presidential Candidate and he gets elected they could complete what ever getting in good favor with the US would get them. Putin has decided to show good interest in us and it's only for the gain of Russian....
