Guerdina Lucien .. My First Police Stop Based on what I read on the “ My First Police Stop” article I truly think that Hanif Willis-Abdurraqib was treated not fairly and the police officers were racist towards him, it is never right to judge someone based in their appearances of social range. People reading that story may say that he was treated unfairly because “ he was in a wrong place at a wrong time” buy it really should not be that way . There is a reason this country is country the freedom country, the country where people have the right to speak, were there is diversity, were there is acceptance in what is correct . I feel bad for the poor little Hanif WillisAbdurraqib because he was just a 17 years old teenager who had never have a confrontation with the police before and who had never experienced a fear for the people who was suppose to protect him , I am feeling empathetic, I really put myself in his shoes and I am trying to understand what he was feeling , there is no justification for that act of brutality committed against him , there is no way to decor the evenement to make it look pretty or not offensive . I feel that way not because I am black , but it is because I feel no human should be treated in such way , no matter where they are from, what languages they speak, what they eat, ow they dress, what is their culture, what they like, etc....
