Both practical and conceptual questions, and refer to the final exam cover sheet for mark allocation. There are no multiple choice questions in the final exam. All questions must be answered on the examination paper. Non‐programmable calculators with no text storage/retrieval capacity are permitted. No dictionaries. This is a closed‐book exam.

Further instructions: 1. You will be required to present your Student Card as photographic proof of identity for the duration of the final examination. This must be visible at all times during the examination. 2. You must clearly indicate your name and your student number on the front page of the exam paper. 3. During the exam, obey all instructions provided by the exam supervisor. Failure to

do so may result in grade penalties, or in some cases, a Fail grade. 4. Note: The Sample Exam and Final Exam are not the same, and do not necessarily have the same topic coverage or weighting of marks for each question. 5. Note: The content or style of past final examination papers may not be representative of that of the final exam paper for this session. 1

6. The topics examined or weighting of marks for each question may be different in the supplementary exam. Information about the supplementary exam will be provided after the final exam. Extension and penalties No extensions will be granted. Students who have not attempted the final exam will be awarded a mark of ZERO for the final exam component, except for cases in which an application of special consideration is made and approved, and in which case, a supplementary final exam will be given.
