Hunger Games TRIBUTES

Marvel Was born in District One, he trained all of his life to be in the Hunger Games. He specialized in spears. He was one of the careers that managed to escape the Tracker Jackers. He was strong, ruthless, and arrogant. He was killed by Katniss after he trapped and killed Rue.

Glimmer From District One. Was also a part of the Career pack. It was most likely that she was trained to fight in the Hunger Games and volunteered for it. She was indirectly killed by Katniss. Katniss dropped a Tracker Jacker nest onto the group of sleeping careers.

Cato He is from District 2, he trained to be a career tribute. He volunteered when the names were called. He is described to be a large, short tempered, fierce fighter. District Two is said to be located where the Rocky Mountains are, it is one of the wealthiest districts. They are the most loyal to the Capitol. Was killed by Katniss as a mercy shot because he was being torn apart by the dogs.

Clove She was the female tribute from District Two. A sadistic, ruthless and highly skilled girl. She became one of Katniss Everdeen's main adversaries in the arena. She was finally killed by Thresh because be hears her mention Rue’s death.

Unnamed The tributes from Districts 3-4 are not named in the book so we don’t know much about them. The male tribute from District 5 was also unnamed.

Foxface Katniss gives her this nickname. We do not know her real name. She gives her this name because of her sly, fox-like appearance. Katniss and Peeta find her body after she had eaten a handful of Nightlock.

Jason He was the male tribute from District 6. We don’t know much about him. He was killed in the initial bloodbath at the Cornucopia.

Unnamed The female tribute from District 6 was never named in the book. The tributes from Districts 7-10 are not named.

Thresh From District 11. He was strong, powerful, and resourceful. He could have posed a serious threat against Katniss if he didn’t spend most of the games in the wheat fields. Thresh saves Katniss once in the book because she was Rue’s ally. The book never told us how he died. Katniss thought that he was killed by the muts.

Rue She was from District 11. Small, and only 12 years old. She was small, and was very adept at climbing trees. Was Katniss’ ally during the games until she was killed.

Peeta Mellark From District 12. He is very strong, and smart. He is a baker's son, and the youngest of three. He had two older brothers that refused to volunteer for him when his name was drawn. He was in love with Katniss for years and made it known in his interview. He is one of the winners of the 74th Hunger Games.

Katniss Everdeen Main character in the Hunger Games, from District 12. Volunteered for her little sister Prim. She is one of the winning tributes of the 74th Hunger Games....
