CTE is a major problem within football players across the country its been found in Boxers, Tackle football players, Soccer Players, Ice Hockey players, Military Veterans, Victims of domestic abuse Caused by repeated hits to the brain over the years Diagnoses id only available after death as it requires degeneration of brain tissue and deposits of TAU Affects patient behavior. Causes aggression, depression and paranoia Other symptoms can be affecting the patients memory or having impaired judgment 20% of known CTE cases have no record or report of concussion. It isn’t about concussion but instead about how many times they get hit
It is a major problems that needs more funding and research to be put into it.
Usually occurs in 4 stages appearing 8-10 years after an athlete experiences MTBI 1.
Symptoms include add, disorientation, headaches

Players from over 100 college football programs have been diagnosed with CTE 3 out of the 5 major college football leagues (SEC, PAC12, BIG 10, ACC, BIG 12) have at
least 50% of their schools with one or more CTE diagnoses There are 15 colleges with three or more CTE cases including the likes of UCLA,
Alabama, Michigan state, University of Southern California, and more
Were talking about half the schools in a conference. That Number is astonishing and must be brought down. CTE is a problem. Its up to us to fix it.
