Alfabeto Per fare lo spelling di una parola si usa la seguente formula:! Lettera + as in + parola con iniziale della lettera! Es: A as in America! D: can you spell me your name/surname, please?! This è il marcatore più usato per questo tempo verbale (this week/year/month) e indica un periodo non preciso.! • Passate con tempo inespresso! I have been to New York! Come periodo è inteso nell’arco della vita! • Passate con i seguenti marcatori: every, already, just, yet, never, recently, today, up to now, so far, in life)! I have been to New York up to now! Come periodo è inteso quello immediatamente passato al presente (proprio ora), perché l’azione non deve per forza svolgersi in un lontano passato.! Forma affermativa:! Past perfect Corrisponde in italiano al trapassato prossimo (avevo mangiato…).! Si usa per esprimere una azione che si è svolta precedentemente ad un’altra che è espressa al simple past.! Alcuni esempi:! 1. Yesterday I went to a cfg after work (il momento è preciso quindi non serve il past perfect! 2. When the waiter arrived to take the order, she had decided yet (yet è il marcatore per il present perfect)! 3. Peter hadn’t eaten yet when we joined him at the restaurant! 4. We hadn’t visited the museum before we went in Paris (before indica un periodo non preciso quindi si usa il past perfect)! 5. When my parents arrived at the airport gate the plane had taken off (spesso basta trovare una valida traduzione in italiano per avere I verbi al tempo gusto)!
Future Il futuro in inglese è indicato con:! • Simple present: per orari prefissati e programmati! Es: next Friday the plane from Rome land at 10.50 a.m.! • Will + verbo base: per eventi non programmati e spontanei, per offrirsi di fare qualcosa, per eventi certi che accadranno e per predire qualcosa o esprimere una opinione personale! Es: I’ll pay for everyone!! Tonight it will rain! I think that Peter will date Lola! N: sogg + will not/won’t + verbo base! D: will + sogg + verbo base! • To be going to + verbo base: per azioni future programmate e previsioni di eventi futuri che accadranno basandosi su fatti presenti!
