EXECUTIVE SUMMARY (HANDIG) KamiKali Co. is a manufacturing business that produces ecological friendly staples. The company is currently based in the University of the East Manila (UE Manila) POD Building but service is not limited to campus as it extends its product offers in the whole country with its online market expansion. The company provide merchandise such as tote bags, tumblers and ball pens. These are particularly made for students and faculty members of UE Manila and other advocates that has a keen interest with goods that promotes environmental sustainability. The company’s objective is to collectively give cheap high-quality products that would satisfy the customers’ wants while helping the environment conservation.

The Company’s Stakeholders are as follows: 1. The General Manager who is overall in command of the business. This person assures and guarantees that the business achieves its long term and short-term goals while dedicating its utmost priority to the well-being of the company. 2. The Assistant General Manager supports and extends help to the General Manager by performing other managerial functions in the daily operation of the business. 3. The Department Managers of every business unit who will facilitate the monitoring of subordinate staffs in their respective departments in order to ascertain that they are fulfilling their respective task with excellence.

The Employees who will be the foundation of the company as they would be responsible on the day to day operations of the business and expected to live the mission and vision of the institution as they perform their jobs 5. Consumers who serves as a lifeline of the business. They are the priority of the company by giving them the best quality goods produced by KamiKali Co. 6. Suppliers whom are the key of the business to produce high quality products as they’re the one in charge in proffering the raw materials used by the manufacturing company 7. The Government whom the company has sharing the same goal of promoting the public interest. This is possible through supporting the government projects with the taxes being paid by the company

Our Services:

The KamiKali Company mainly offers high quality eco-friendly products. The company provides 3 products from its product line. These are denim tote bags labeled as “Mined Bag”, tumblers that are called “Mabobote” and plantable pens that are named as “Penseed”. The company gives color variety and customization with the first two aforementioned merchandise along with the available design made by the design committee of the company. On the other hand, the company offers different “Penseed” choices where the customers can pick their prefer seeds that will come along their pens. All of these items will be served with paper packaging to satisfy the aesthetic taste of its customers. This will be market to environmental advocates along with the youth whom the company wants to help with lessening their plastic footprint.

INTRODUCTION A. The Business Concept and the Business Model (PABLO) KamiKali Co. is a company established to provide the necessity of the stakeholders of the University of the East particularly the students and the faculty. It will offer staples such as tumblers, bags, and pens which are important things to have in a school. The business concept will be how using the products offered by the company will lessen the plastic consumption on the campus. This is why the name is associated with the environment and goes KamiKali or shortened "Kami para sa KaliKasan". University students and faculty who are users of plastics that harm the environment are using numerous plastic ball pens, plastic bags and ordinary pens with plastic body frames in their stay on campus. Aside from its unhelpful to the environment, the unawareness it gives doesn't help the students' ecological knowledge development. Therefore, the products such as reusable tumblers, upcycled denim tote bags, and paper ball pens are created to dispose of and stop plastic consumption. The company will be producing these products by getting the cheapest yet quality raw materials for bags and penseed that will be manufactured while having partner suppliers for the tumblers. Also, the company will offer tumbler and bag customization through having partner printing shops. The company's production department values the affordability of the price so they cinched to lower alternatives of raw materials and outsource labor to come up with cost affordable goods. After finalizing the product processing, all of it will also undergo eco-friendly packaging so it can fit the aesthetic need of consumers as well. The

UNIVERSITY OF THE EAST mentioned packaging will have paper seed tags that only KamiKali offers among its competitors on the campus. This adds to the competitive advantage of the company. As how the company wants to serve the customers, it will reach out through them in a form of having a physical store in Arts and Hearts Bazaar for a week that can be found in PO Domingo Building. It will also be available online through extending its offers in an online store like shoppee and social media such as Facebook Twitter and Instagram. Aside from the accessibility, it will have promotional tools to be led by the company's marketing department. The company will communicate the benefits they can get from the products with these promotional materials so KamiKali can showcase their offerings' unique value proposition. For the finances, the company will maximize the usage of financial shares from the group members of the company. It will make sure that the company will have a high return on investment by assuring that all of its inventories will be sold in the physical and online stores. With this, the company can secure the generation of its revenue.

A. Company Ownership (PABLO) KamiKali Co. is a privately owned company established by a sole proprietor that takes the role of overviewing the managerial function of the business. The company was founded by a single proprietor thus all of its shares are owned by the General Manager. The General Manager together with the Assistant General Manager, Departmental Managers and Staffs run a company that promotes environmental sustainability awareness among the University of the

UNIVERSITY OF THE EAST East-Manila stakeholders. It offers staples such as tumbler bottles, denim tote bags and plantable pens that aims to lessen the usage of plastic materials in campus.

B. Organizational Structure/Management Team (CRUZ) The General Manager is accountable and responsible for the overall performance of the company. In charge of the operations of the company, including generating revenues and controlling the expenses, delegating tasks and directing and leading employees to what they should do. They usually supervise the business operations in order to achieve its goals. The Assistant General Manager helps the general manager to ensure that the day-to-day business operations are going well or they operate effectively. He/she is the one making sure that the employees follow the rules and regulations and meet customer service standards. The Production Manager is the one who plans, and coordinate with the manufacturing process of a certain goods. Responsible for assessing projects and resource requirements needed to produce a product. He/she makes sure that the products are worth the price with the quality expected at the right cost. The Sales and Marketing Manager focuses on the development of the marketing strategy of the company. Tracks and analyzes the performance of the advertisements, marketing budget, and makes sure that the promotion of the products are released in platforms that are appropriate for the brand. The Human Resource Manager is responsible for the good relationship of the management and its employees. He/she handles problems and issues and thinks of a possible solution. Also responsible

The Finance and Accounting Manager is tasked in reviewing the financial reports and monitoring the financial health of the company. They investigate ways to improve profitability and to reduce costs of the company. Develops plans and strategies for the long-term financial goals of the organization. The Rank-and-File Employees are the main power of the company for its daily operations. They are the ones who perform the day-to-day tasks in order for the company to keep running. They are assigned to specific tasks or jobs and are responsible to accomplish them.

TARGET CUSTOMERS AND MAIN VALUE PROPOSITION A. Market Segmentation (ORTIZ) Kamikali co. will mainly focus on serving the community of the University of the East-Manila campus particularly students and faculty members of the Basic Education and College students. Moreover, working personnel will be part of our market since our company will offer variety of products. Off-campus customers could also be potential customers. Since the company is promoting environment sustainability in the campus, Kamikali co. conducted a market survey that shows

With data at hand, the age range of the potential customers will be 16 years old and above and mostly are senior high school students. Products are being offered not only for the senior high school but for the whole campus.

B. Target Market Segment Strategy (ORTIZ) The products of Kamikali co. is ideal for the campus especially to students because of its affordability and environment ecofriendliness. The target market of Kamikali co. will be senior high school and college students but due to the affordability of the products, even elementary and junior high school students in the campus can purchase the products. Various marketing strategy will boost company’s sales like organizing an event and advertisements and such. Moreover, senior high school and college students will love the products since it is ideal to students but also eco-friendly that promotes

Social Media Advertisement Social media platforms particularly Facebook, is a great platform to get and reach a huge number of audiences. Since the target market have smartphones, most of them surely have social media accounts like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and such. Through that, Kamikali company will be able to maximize the use of social media to promote their products and to accommodate customers’ inquiries. For an easy communication between the company and customers, creating Facebook page, Instagram account and Twitter account will help the customers to know more about the products and of course who really Kamikali company is. Through these accounts and page, the company will be able to update the customers about what they need to know and if there will be events and promotions by posting an announcements and posters. Furthermore, posting the enticing pictures and promotional videos of the products will be able to catch the eye and sparks interest of the market. By doing this, the company could attract potential customers and gain profit. Strategy #2. Discounts Promotion / Clearance Sale Discounts promotion is one of the most common yet effective way to attract the customers. Many people only buy a product if it is sale or discounted and no matter how good the offer would be, people will at least pay their attention when they hear the word ‘’sale’’ or ‘’discount’’. For this reason, this kind of strategy will probably work. Furthermore, there is a tendency that customers will buy more products just to get the price deduction when they purchase products. Giving discounts in the kick-off day will attract customers since it is the

With this, Kamikali company can use this opportunity not only to have promotions but also freebies in which related to the said event. By this, the company could gain and attract more customers. Strategy #3. Design Customization We all know that everyone has their own taste and preferences in almost everything that we have. Even to tote bags and tumblers, customers want their stuffs to be their “own” by injecting their interest and preferred designs to the said products. For this reason, Kamikali company will also cater design customization in the product that they are going to buy for the greater satisfaction of the customers. By having their preferred design or signature on the product, their satisfaction will probably increase that would possibly result to purchasing more and patronizing the product. Strategy #4. Promoting Environment Sustainability In this day and age, environment sustainability is a must for everyone. In line with Kamikali company’s mission and vision promoting the use of eco-friendly products, the company will use this not only to promote products but also to influence the youth to take an action and make an effort to save the earth. We all know that only little of the population is patronizing eco-friendly products that in fact will help to save our environment. Since the company owners are also

Moreover, the company must take care of their customers so that they can make their customer repeat purchase of the products. Also, it will enhance company image. If the company have a good relationship and image with the customers, there’s a possibility that customers would recommend the company’s product to other people that will boost the company’s sales. Having an excellent customer feedback could lead to attraction of new customers.
