" Kartilya of the Katipunan was not just important to The the " Katipuneros but also to all the Filipinos during a time where the country is under the control of " powerful forces. The rules and duties made by Emilio Jacinto made Filipinos realize that the only way to " save the country and be a better Filipino is to be " disciplined and follow what is given to them. " Changing Filipino’s attitudes by renouncing any bad habits and following the rules made by the authority " helped us to become a better citizen. Kartilya ng Katipunan is a set of principles that shows the path on how each and every one of us must live of lives by living to the fullest through good values. I believe that this Kartilya ng Katipunan was made to change the thoughts of every Filipino's unacceptable behavior

Emilio Jacinto is described as both the soul and the brain of the Katipunan. While only 21 years old, Jacinto joined the guerilla force and actively participated in the fight against the Spanish, showing how intelligent and daring he is. Emilio Jacinto's views helped to form the Philippine Revolution. He is a decent and innocent guy even though he experiences poverty and understands no language, who is honest, good-natured, and honorable, who doesn't oppress others or aid their oppressors, who cares for his native land.

What if the Katipunan members don't follow the teachings and ideals of Kartilya? What would happen to them? Are they in trouble? Will they be put to death? What if Emilio Jacinto, knowing Jose Rizal was his hero, went to college anyway? If he didn't join Bonifacio's alliance, what will happen? Why did Andres Bonifacio choose to embrace the Kartilya instead of his own draft of the Dekalogo ng Katipunan?...
