Description

Describe how the Electoral College works, select a presidential election from U.S. history, and discuss the results of the Compare the Electoral College results with the popular vote. They select the president by using the 12th and 23rd Amendment from the US Constitution to help make it fair so nobody cheats to become president. We do use indirect voting for two elected presidents for the United States. They say that's the fairest way to do it even though most presidents cheat just to get what they want anyway. They pay off whatever they have to pay off to become president. I know as for myself have never really been into the whole politics and choosing presidents and Senators none of that really makes any sense to me my kids ask me all the time what's going on why is this happening why is that happening I can't explain it because I don't understand myself. I know I had to explain the whole voting process to my kids and how you can get a ballot in the mail and you take it to his place where you vote and then vote for who you want and you get a pretty little sticker that says I voted my son can't wait to be able to vote. I think in this election the popular vote is probably for Donald Trump even though he's probably not the best president for the United States because he's not helping us he's hurting us. He's making it impossible for anybody to get a job that he's trying to take away from Obamacare. There is one advantage to being able to though is that smaller towns and states can do smaller voting polls. So they can get an equal amount of votes so that way not everybody has to vote at once. Explain your position regarding the Electoral College and whether you are for or against the Electoral College as it is currently. Be sure to elaborate and explain your rationale for your position. I think I'm on the fence when it comes to voting or my position when it comes to the president. I know it for myself that just when you vote it doesn't feel like your vote counts for anything. The only votes the count are the ones that are from Congress or the president. I feel like my vote doesn't count because with my family we live so below the probity line that we can't even get better jobs. I can't find any place better to live. For myself, people tell me that I don't have any experience to get a job which I don't because nobody will help me get a job. Which is why we are in such hardship after everything this has happened to my family. We have nothing, no one helps because no one cares. I'm just happy we have each other. I think that has a lot to do with who's president who makes decisions because I never got any stimulus check that would have been great that would have helped pay our rent for at least two months. So here's a question to everybody why did some people get the stimulus check and others didn't?
