I’m still undecisive about entering graduate school but I plan on getting mentored and deciding my final decision.

How well are you working towards achieving your academic, spiritual, and career goals? Explain. What changes might you make? (75-100 words total) 1. Academic Goals - I am working extremely hard to keep up with my classes to earn the grade I want. I think that I am beginning to make a change with how I do work because I’m starting to turn in homework on time. I’m also working on homework before the due date. I have been trying to get my grades up, so I can finish all of my classes with straight A’s. I want to accomplish this in order to be the best I can be 2. Spiritual Goals - I haven’t really done much honestly to accomplish any spiritual goals. I have attended mass last Sunday and it was interesting to get back at it. I enjoyed it; however, I do not believe that I will be able to attend mass every Sunday. This week I will attempt to start praying again in the morning, before eating, and at night. I also did not attend the life group meeting today because I’ve been in the library doing my homework. Next week I plan to make the time to attend the meeting.

3. Career Goals - Finally, for career goals I have not done much, but only apply to on campus jobs. I have not yet been blessed to get a job; however, I will plan to more soon. I really haven’t been working on these goals as much as

my academic goals because I do not believe that I should be worrying about it until next semester or next year as a sophomore. Hopefully, next semester or next year I will have time to focus on these goals as well.

Describe HOW you will know you are achieving your goals. (75-100 words total) 1. Academic Goals - I will know when I accomplish my goals when I graduate from Grand Canyon University and have a high GPA. I will also know when I have grades above a B or hopefully straight A’s. When I begin to comprehend the subjects and get great grades on tests/ quizzes. I want to be able to finish my major and hopefully continue on with a job in the medical field. I am now currently thinking of applying to dental school, but it will all be achieved with my grades. 2. Spiritual Goals – I will know if I accomplish my spiritual goals when I begin to go to church every Sunday without hesitation or laziness to go. As well as begin to pray every day when I wake up, eat, and then go to sleep. Also, I will attend every life group meeting on Mondays at 7:00p.m. This will allow for growth in my faith and hopefully work harder to create more goals than those three. 3. Career Goals - As for my career goals, I will know when I accomplish all my goals when I graduate from Grand Canyon University with my bachelor’s in biology within an emphasis in pre-med. I hopefully passed the MCAT or DAT, which will allow me to follow my dream of working in the medical field. I want to help people and give back to my community and make a positive impact to the people who helped me get this far.
