Impact of Covid-19

Social

The impact of this pandemic on social is it cause stress to everyone due to community quarantine everyone has nothing to do but to hold on their gadgets and on social media, although in other ways or it has good cause because almost people specially families that is broken are reunited. Everyone has now much time to spend with their loved ones.

Political

When the covid-19 hits, government forced to implement new rules and regulations including GCQ, closing establishments that is not necessarily needed, wearing facemasks and face shields, and maintaining social distancing.

Environmental

Environment is really affected by this pandemic. As of now facemasks are scattered anywhere you can see it everywhere, in rivers, sidewalks, roads etc. they disposed it improperly include those big hospitals as well. Another is the process of cremating it cause air pollution because materials that they are using to burn produces a huge amount of carbon dioxide.

Economy

Due to GCQ many establishments forced to close their business that became the reason there are so many people has to go home and lose their job. Tourism also stopped because any travel international and local are very strict the government also has no choice but to use our fund just to give relief on those families and to loan that cause freezing of our economy.

Conclusion: This Pandemic COVID-19 has a very negative impact in everyone’s life aspect, it takes many life, destroys many dreams and cause infliction in our community. It interrupt many opportunity and change our way of living that is a very big challenge to everyone.

Reaction Paper

In Atom Araullo documentary show broadcast by GMA Network this documentary talks about where COVID-19 starts, it says that the outbreak of the infectious virus first time appeared in Wuhan, China, in late December 2019, and later this pandemic (COVID-19) rapidly spread in other cities of China and over 200 countries worldwide by end of 25 April. Many of Filipino’s decided to go home on their own province because everyone is afraid or they feel safer on province while other are they don’t want to be stocked or locked down on Manila because there is no job and if they stay, they don’t have enough money to use on their daily needs, considering that they don’t have Idea how long the lockdown is. Atom asked some family in some places where an area is overpopulated if they would be able to follow social distancing one of government’s rules implemented and they answered for them it is impossible because of the number of people living in that area are overpopulated. Part of this documentation is the life of a front liner. It is mentioned on how hard, dangerous, and delicate their job and the story of their sacrifices for their family and to their patients and stories of some covid patients that survived and those who did not. And in the end, he mentioned how this pandemic makes us to be thankful and reunited with our loved ones.

In this documentation it helps me to understand the current situation and how tragic and debilitating this virus impact in the whole world, I understand why front liners pleasing everyone to stay home and follow rules because they are tired and they are also hurt when a patient died and also teach me a lesson that everyday we have to be thankful and take care of our self, because we can’t see the enemy that we are fighting , don’t be naughty follow the rules implemented because it is the right thing to do....
